Most business leaders would state that as the President of IpX my message should focus solely on business. I’ve attempted to compose such a letter, but I wasn’t being true to myself. I wasn’t being true to my IpX friends and family. I wasn’t being true to my friends that live throughout the globe. Now more than ever we need truth.
As unique individuals, the reality is that thousands who have been stricken with this novel virus have already lost the battle. There are still hundreds of thousands stricken with this novel virus that are currently fighting the battle. Many of them are fighting alone in isolation and dire conditions. We are losing coworkers. We are losing friends. We are losing family. We must find ways to stand together. To encourage. To motivate. To lead. To change.
For small businesses such as IpX, we have seen an unprecedented shift in the way all organizations must operate for the foreseeable future. Borders are closing, supply chains are tightening, layoffs are rapidly progressing, and global business closures are on the horizon.
Today, we have an opportunity for action. A chance to finally RISE up regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, disability, race, religion, and/or gender. The list of beautiful characteristics that make us human is endless. We have an opportunity to fight back. We have an opportunity to thrive.
We have an opportunity to use this event as a chance to change the way we as humans treat each other.
We have an opportunity to use this event as a chance to change the way we as businesses work and collaborate with each other.
We have an opportunity to use this event as a chance to change the way we as unique nations interact and show respect to each other.
We as individuals and professionals are stronger together. Now more than ever individuals, businesses, and governments need to work together. Our initiatives, strategies, communications and processes must be clear, concise and valid. It’s time for us all to come together.
True North is more than IpX’s model; it’s our DNA. It embodies the spirit of our message and our moral compass. While we navigate through these changes, we will do them together with the health and safety of the entire IpX community being of the utmost importance. We will remain resilient in our progress and flexible in our growth and avenues to continue bringing sustainable and scalable change.
As we move through the trials that this virus has brought and will continue to bring, remember that no one is unaffected. Your coworkers, your employees, your neighbors, your postal worker, your friends, your family members. We must continue to remain positive and inspirational for ourselves, those around us and the next generation. We must continue to empower them to embrace change and unleash their creativity in a time that feels stagnant. And as stakeholders in any community in which we participate, we must continue to stay closely connected and deeply engaged with one another.
As an individual, I am Joseph Anderson, President of IpX. As a member of a team of friends and family, I proudly close with… We are IpX and we will stay the course.
